Our Speciality

Leimer Dunkel

A speciality of the pub in co-operation with the brewery in Lenzing. There are also dark variants of the low-fermenting types of beer with spice contents of 11-14 %:

These variants are called DUNKLES MAERZEN; DUNKLEN BOCK etc.

But here also exists a simple DUNKEL.

It is usually malted, delicious and too much bitter beer with spice contents of 11-14 % without too high beer wort (malt extract). Even though the colour of the beer may suggest it, the dark regional beer is not a strong beer.

Naturally we do not want the dark beer brewed in Lenzing to be called a regional beer !

That is why we offer it as SPECIAL – the LEIMER DUNKEL.

In the meantime, the Leimer Dunkel became a favourite alternative to our light ale LEIMER BRAEU – a speciality that is on tap all over the year.
